Yet another landmark in the trade of Hardware Interfacing and Embedded System studies was set by Society Of Computer Science in School Of Systems and Technology(SST) when a hands on seminar on “Ardunio Based Embedded Systems” was organized at University Of Management and Technology (UMT) on December,18,2015. The seminar was delivered by a professional form the field Dr Awais Yaseen from UET Taxila. The presenter has a vast experience in developing different Embedded System Projects. The session put light on the following aspects of developing hardware related projects using Arduino:-
o Arduino Programming
o Digital I/Os - Hardware Interfacing
o Arduino in Robotics
o Arduino for Home Automation
The seminar showed a great set of ideas and practical implementation of various Computer Science related projects. The participants gained hands on skills by using Arduino and many other hardware components
The seminar was altogether appreciated by the faculty and participants. More than 100 students from various degree programs participated in the workshop .In the end the UMT souvenir was presented to the valued speaker by Dean SST, Dr. Nasir ud Din Gohar.
