Fasiha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UMT. Her role involves teaching and creating different core/elective courses in the domain of Software Engineering, Computer Science and IT, supervising final-year projects in the same domains, counseling and helping students as student adviser, and organizing workshops and seminars in different areas of Computer Science and the latest research trends. Fasiha is in the process of completing her Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology, where she also received her MS in Computer Science and a BS in Computer Science.
Fasiha’s research areas include the deployment of telecommunication networks based on over provisioning and redundancy and the confirmation of availability and reliability, and energy efficient solutions for Software Defined Networks.
