Leading Pakistan's Digital Revolution

Digital Logic Design & Embedded Systems Labs

The Digital Logic Design (DLD) & Embedded Systems Labs at SST bridges foundational concepts of digital logic with modern applications in IoT, robotics, embedded systems, and cybersecurity. It provides students with hands-on experience, taking them from basic digital circuits to advanced cyber-physical systems.

The lab is equipped with DLD trainer boards, microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi 5), IoT devices, robotics kits, drones, and specialized security tools (Hack RF, Uber tooth, Rubber Ducky). These resources enable practical exploration of logic design, embedded computing, IoT ecosystems, and IoT security.

Students and researchers engage in projects such as smart home automation, robotics navigation, environmental monitoring, energy management, UAV-based surveillance, and IoT security demonstrations.

By blending fundamentals with cutting-edge technologies, the DLD Lab nurtures innovation, problem-solving, and research, preparing graduates for careers in electronics, embedded systems, networking, and cybersecurity.

Robotics & Maker Space Lab

The Robotics & Maker Space Lab at SST (established in 2024) provides a dynamic environment for innovation, prototyping, and research in areas such as 3D printing, drone technology, image processing, IoT, and automated machine design. It enables students and faculty to experiment, design, and develop real-world projects with hands-on access to advanced tools.

The lab is equipped with 3D printers, high-performance workstations, drones, and AI-powered monitoring devices, supporting projects in real-time human detection, environmental monitoring, and smart machine development. Students actively showcase their innovations at major technology expos such as Future Fest.

Future plans include expanding 3D printing capabilities (resin and metal), integrating AI-driven drone imaging, and advancing research in robotics, IoT, and industrial automation, strengthening the lab’s role as a hub for practical learning and applied research.
