- Stanford University has recently released a list that represents the top 2 percent of the most-cited scientists in various disciplines.
- Dr Yaser Daanial Khan from the faculty of Computer science has been ranked among those top two percent of scientists.
- The exhaustive list has 1,61,442 persons with nearly 243 from Pakistan. He ranks as the Top researcher working in the field of Bioinformatics in Pakistan.
