Post ADP of Computer Science
Creating strong foundations in the discipline of Computer Science is the main focus of the BS Computer Science-Post ADP programme. Those who have done ADP will have the opportunity to complete 16-year education, which would then make them eligible for many jobs and higher studies. The Post-ADP programme meets all the emerging demands of the software industry and is approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
Both theoretical and practical aspects are emphasized to produce competent programmers and problem solvers.
Post ADP Computer Science programme offers a wide range of courses helping the students acquire expertise in computer applications, modern theoretical aspects of computer science, programming techniques and efficient utilization of technology. Students will also participate in seminars, workshops as well as competitions to ensure that they are abreast of the latest trends in the field.
Admission Criteria
Admission criteria for post ADP is same as BS(CS) in addition to the 2.0 CGPA in ADP. It is as following:
At least 50% marks in intermediate (HSSC) examination with Mathematics or equivalent qualification with Mathematics, certified by IBCC.
At least 50% marks in intermediate (HSSC) examination with Pre-Medical or equivalent qualification, certified by IBCC. (Math deficiency courses will be required to be completed)
At least 2.0 CGPA in ADP (computing related associate degree only).
