Mr. Bilal Hassan joined UMT Lahore as Lecturer in Computer Science Department in December 203. Later, he has been promoted to Assistant Professor in Octoboer 2015. Mr. Bilal Hassan completed both of his Masters and Bachelors in Computer Sciences from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT)Lahore in 2011 and 2013 respectively.

He is teaching in University at undergraduate level since 2011 in which he served at various positions. His experiences inculde; Research Associate at CIIT Lahore, as Lab Instructor at University of Central Punjab Lahore. At both of the institutions his job assignment was to conduct undergraduate level labs. At UMT Lahore since his joining from 2013, he is teaching undergraduate level course. As far as his lab and teaching activites are concerend, he has about 2.5 years of expereince of conducting labs for fundamental programming courses at undergraduate level. He has also taught couple of fundametnal and specialized courses at undergraduate level after his joining at UMT in 2013. A list of courses taught is as followos;

He is also actively involded in research. His areas of research spans Machine Vision and its applications for sports. His current research is focused towards game of cricket. He is working to provide local solutions to resolve issues like illegal bowling action and miss judgement of edge with bat. He has about 07 publications as well in various internationally recognized journal and conferences. Another dimension of his research is requirment engineering for open source systems.
