Joined UMT as Assistant Professor in School of Science and Technology in September 2010. I have over 26 years of experience in industry and academia. As divisional engineer of ICC served in power sector, this work involved design, erection and commissioning of EHV transmission lines and grid stations. Also served as a team lead in ICCSoft for the development of web based Enterprise management system, these softwares are working successfully in Pakistan and abroad. Worked as RA for two years during my PHD course work at LUMS. I am currently pursuing my PHD from UMT, EED.
My areas of research and interest include VLSI implementation of DSP algorithms, VLSI Circuit design, Circuits and Systems, DSP, Microprocessor Systems and Artificial intelligence. I have published papers in well known international conference and journals.
I am life time member of Pakistan Engineering Council, Associate member of IEEE, Pakistan, member of IEP , and member IEEE (USA)..
