Dr. Muhammad Asad Arshed is an Assistant Professor at the School of Systems and Technology, UMT Lahore. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where his research focused on predicting drug side effects using deep learning. His interests include ML, DL, computer vision, NLP, medical imaging, and biomedical informatics, with several publications in reputable journals and conferences. He serves as Guest Editor for Mathematical and Computational Applications and Associate Editor for IJIST, and actively reviews for international journals. He received the Outstanding Performance Award from UMT and the Best Paper Presenter Award at the DCHPC Conference in Iran. He has also worked as a NAVTTC Trainer and served as Research Officer on NCAI projects at Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), UET Lahore. Dr. Arshed is known for his strong analytical skills, quality research, and real-world AI applications.
