On February 1, 2017, School of Systems & Technology organized its 1st Open House Session (Final Year Projects) at UMT Lahore campus. Current BS (CS, SE, and IT) final year students discussed their projects at a poster session held in the Conference Hall.
More than 100 final year projects were on display. The Open house attracted a large audience including students, faculty and professionals who showed a keen interest in the projects. The event provided a magnificent opportunity to the junior students to get an insight for their Final Year Projects. In addition, the presenting students got valuable feedback from the knowledgeable audience.
Dr. Shoukat Iqbal, Dean of the School of System and Technology (SST), inaugurated the event and encouraged students to strive hard for excellence as it is an important part of professionalism. He appreciated the efforts of students and motivated them to keep participating in such events.
Dr. Adnan Abid, Chairperson Department of Computer Science, gave the opening remarks and highlighted the impact of quality projects and how events like this are a source of technological innovation and support for the entrepreneurs.
