INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO DEVSINC LAHORE

Students from the School of Systems and Technology (SST) at UMT participated in an industrial visit to Devsinc Lahore, one of Pakistan’s leading software development companies. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to a professional software engineering environment and offered insights into contemporary industry practices.
During the visit, students gained a firsthand understanding of software development workflows, project management processes, workplace culture, and emerging technologies shaping the IT sector. The experience enabled participants to connect classroom learning with real-world applications and better understand the skills and competencies required in the technology industry.
The visit was organized by Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed, Dr. Tayyaba Anees, Nitasha Arooj, Syed Hamed Raza, Kinza Sardar, and Bilal Hussain and reflects SST–UMT’s commitment to bridging academia and industry by creating opportunities for experiential learning, professional development, and career readiness.
