SST-UMT Hosts NIBC Seminar and Signs MoU with Optimus Fox

The School of Systems and Technology (SST) at the University of Management and Technology (UMT) hosted the National Institute of Blockchain & Crypto (NIBC) Seminar, bringing together academia, industry experts, and technology leaders to discuss the growing impact of blockchain and crypto technologies in Pakistan.
The seminar focused on the role of blockchain in driving digital transformation, with emphasis on its potential to reshape industries, enhance transparency, and support innovation across sectors.
A key highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SST-UMT and Optimus Fox, a technology company specializing in blockchain, AI, Web3, and custom software development solutions. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to strengthening industry-academia linkages, promoting applied research, and creating meaningful opportunities for student engagement.
