National Success-SST-UMT Excels in HEC Skill Competency Test 2026

The School of Systems and Technology (SST) at UMT has once again set a national benchmark with an outstanding performance in the HEC National Skill Competency Test 2026, outperforming over 33,000 students across Pakistan and reinforcing its reputation as a hub of high-achieving, future-ready tech talent.
Top performers included Muhammad Rayyan Ijaz from BS Computer Science, scoring in the 99.8 percentile; Muhammad Ali (BS Data Science, 99.6 percentile); M Abdullah Akram (BS Software Engineering, 99.3 percentile); and Syed Burhan Ahmed Hassan Shah (BS Artificial Intelligence, 99.2 percentile), alongside strong results from Ghullam Mustafa Subhani, Ayan Zeeshan, and Isha Tahir, all scoring in the 99 percentiles.
The test was designed to assess practical, industry-relevant skills in tech fields. SST–UMT’s results reflect the department’s rigorous academic environment, industry-aligned learning approach, and commitment to nurturing analytical thinking, technical expertise, and innovation-driven education.
