The School of Systems and Technology (SST) at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, successfully organized the 6th IEEE International Conference on Innovative Computing (ICIC 2025). Held at Hakeem Saeed Hall and various academic venues across campus, the two-day conference brought together leading academics, researchers, industry experts, and students to explore advancements in innovative computing, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. The conference aimed to promote research excellence, foster collaboration, and provide a platform for knowledge exchange and presentation of cutting-edge research.
OPENING CEREMONY
The conference commenced with an opening ceremony on December 10, 2025. The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the National Anthem, followed by a welcome note from Prof. Dr. Atif Alvi, Dean SST, who highlighted the importance of innovation-driven research and the role of computing technologies in addressing modern challenges. The Rector of UMT, Dr. Asif Raza, appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and emphasized the significance of international conferences in strengthening academic and industry linkages.

The opening ceremony was further graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Salman Akhtar (CEO, AdalFi), Dr. Yasir Saleem (Chair IEEE Lahore Section), and Mr. Raheel Iqbal (CEO, The Game Storm Studios Pvt. Ltd. and Vice Chairman PASHA). Their remarks focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and the growing impact of computing technologies in shaping the future of industries and societies.



CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Following the opening ceremony, the conference featured multiple technical sessions spread across two days. These sessions were organized into parallel tracks covering diverse areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Bioinformatics, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Network Security, Software Engineering, and Computational Intelligence.
DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1 included three major sessions comprising paper presentations and keynote talks. Researchers presented innovative work on topics such as machine learning applications, drone-based systems, cybersecurity frameworks, healthcare AI solutions, and intelligent communication systems. A key highlight of the day was the keynote session on "AI in Action: How Emerging Technologies Are Rewriting Professional Roles," which provided valuable insights into the transformative role of AI in various industries. Another keynote on Blockchain, Metaverse, and Cryptocurrency further explored the future of decentralized technologies and digital ecosystems.




DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 2 continued with additional technical sessions, keynote talks, and invited talks by renowned experts. These sessions focused on cutting-edge topics such as deepfake detection, healthcare analytics, smart grids, ethical AI, and high-performance computing. Speakers shared practical insights and research advancements, encouraging participants to explore interdisciplinary solutions and innovative approaches to complex problems.

PAPER PRESENTATIONS
Throughout the conference, paper presentation sessions allowed researchers to present their work in a structured format, fostering academic discussion and constructive feedback. CLOSING CEREMONY
The conference concluded with a closing ceremony held on December 11, 2025, at Hakeem Saeed Hall. The session included closing remarks, highlights of ICIC 2025, and addresses by distinguished guests, including senior academic and industry leaders. The organizers expressed their appreciation to speakers, participants, and volunteers for their valuable contributions.


The ceremony also featured the presentation of souvenirs to honored guests and a group photo session, marking the successful conclusion of the conference. ICIC 2025 proved to be a significant academic event that strengthened research culture, encouraged innovation, and provided a collaborative platform for advancing knowledge in innovative computing.
