SST-UMT Students Visited Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA)

An informative industrial visit to the Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) was organized for the students and faculty of the School of Systems and Technology (SST), UMT. The visit aimed to provide participants with practical exposure to the applications of forensic science and technology in criminal investigations.
During the visit, students toured several specialized departments, including Computer Forensics, Toxicology, Polygraph, Audio and Video Analysis, Firearm and Toolmarks Detection, Latent Fingerprints, and DNA Analysis. Experts from PFSA shared valuable insights into the techniques, technologies, and methodologies employed in forensic investigations, demonstrating how scientific principles are applied to solve real-world cases.
The students actively engaged with professionals throughout the visit, showing great enthusiasm and interest in the field. Recognizing this engagement, PFSA announced its intention to offer internship opportunities to UMT students, creating pathways for practical learning and professional development.
